The territory
Adjacent to the splendid villa of Cocceio, which hosted Orazio and Virgilio on their journey from Rome to Brindisi, Votino Company located in Sannio Caudino. Situated on the slopes of Mount Taburno, in a small town in the province of Benevento, the company produces superior quality wines, thanks to its geographical position and climatic conditions.
Tradition
The cultivation of Falanghina and Aglianico has remote origins; since the beginning of the twentieth century, in fact, the Votino family produced and vinified in Bonea. Today this business activity continues maintaining the identity of these vines with their own territory.
The harvest
The harvest is done by hand, while the vinification is carried out with the most up-to-date techniques, thus allowing to obtain high quality products.
